Umboya with synthetic silvertip (CB221)

Umboya is great handle material for folks preferring lighter brushes in deep, rich uniform colouring. To me they make fine brushes, more specifically ones with a more traditional or vintage feel to them. The bit of reclaimed wood we were lucky to score is perfectly uniform, very well matured and has no defects, we are quite stingy to use it! This brown beaut weighs 66.6 grams, (oh no! I have a satanic connection on my website!!!!) stands 130 mm tall with a loft of 60 mm, the waist measures 22 mm. 

The brush is fitted with a 24 mm Synthetic silvertip  knot.
