Description
Our Prepo oils are, as the name suggests a pre- and post shave oil that is used to improve the quality of your shave and more importantly, provide loads of food for your skin. It is such a versatile product that we had to do a blog on it to give a basic overview of how it could be used. We have little doubt you will find use for this product somewhere in your grooming routine, and even when not used in your shaving routine it is a fantastic product to apply right before hitting the sack as it massages into your face in under a minute and will leave no oil marks on your pillow, bedding or on your partner’s thighs.
Available in a 30 ml format, I use about half a pipette at a time, and get approximately 100 uses per bottle. Please provide us with feedback as this is a brand new product and it is likely to develop some more as we receive feedback from consumers, maybe an unfragranced version for guys with super sensitive skin?

Excellent first use!
Today for the very first time, I used Bundubeard’s prepo oil as a preshave. I normally use Proraso Green Preshave. For my shave I used a Fatip Originale Picollo with a Willy’s blade (5th shave!) and Bundubeard’s Cederberg Citrus vegan based shaving soap. After two passes and a few touch ups under the chin (problem area!), I managed to get a 100% BBS and an excellent after shave skin feel. I used a splash of Proraso Green Aftershave. Between the shaving soap, the one month old Willy’s blade and the prepo oil, which one is responsible for the quality shave? My bet is the prepo oil is doing a great job!

Quality ingredients
The primary use may be a shaving product and it certainly excels at it’s job. I however find it works as a beard oil as well as an all round face and hand moisturiser. I had terribly dry hands this winter and my normal hand cream was not doing the trick. Simply rubbing the excess oil post shave into my hands has left them feeling perfect again. An awesome one stop shaving and skincare product worth picking up with whatever else you buy (or maybe two, would make a great gift for the lady in your life!).

Awesome product. Jaco went out of his way to mix me up a batch in a larger quantity because I use way more than I’m suppose to. Lol Excellent and friendly service from Jaco. From the start, Jaco has been a friendly and expert help in deciding which products would work best for me and my needs. Their service is topnotch, and I would recommend them to anyone. The prepo oil is something like no other product I have ever used. It nourishes and aids your skin after a shave and preps the shaving area before to get a clean, smooth and hassle-free shave. My nephew also using the product struggled with skin irritation, and since using it, his skin irritation has completely cleared up! I also bought a safety razor and shaving muti from Jaco, and I regret taking so long to switch to Bundubeard. The experience has been excellent!!!

Multi use oil
Well lets start off with saying this a great oil with quite a few different uses, and the scent as you activate the oil is nice and subtle and lasts for quite a long time, its also a good alternative to an after shave splash for guys who cant use the alcohol based products. I have sensitive skin that`s prone to breakouts and random dryness, so finding and oil or balm that works for me is quite difficult, but after trying the prepo oil for a week, i can happily say iv`e finally found something that works for my skin. I mainly use it as a post shave oil to sooth and moisturize the skin, the oil absorbs fast wont leave your skin oily or greasy looking, and the few times i used it as a pre-shave, i could barely feel the blade glide across my skin, at first i though i forgot to pop a blade in. I did notice i had to rinse the razor a little more than normal as i found the oil and soap clogged up the blade faster, but then that also might have been me using too much oil. I think the guys and gals out there that use cutthroats and shavetts might really enjoy the oil as an extra protective glide between the blade and your skin. If your on the fence about whether it`ll work for you or not, i say pick up a bottle and give it a try, you may just be surprised at how good it is, and if you don`t end up using it as a shave oil, you have a great smelling moisturizer for dry hands and elbows.
