Wild olive brush (CB78)

Wild olive is renowned for its interesting patterns and swirls. It is a hard, dense wood yet quite easy to work with. This handle in a long hourglass shape complements the grain pattern of the wood, always ‘hard to read’ in this species This brush has a 26mm Boar knot and is finished to a 600 grit sanding, finished off in penetrating Danish oil.  Quite a heavy brush at 78 grams in weight and it measures 125 mm tall, with the loft set at 58mm. As with any boar brush it has a longer break-in period, so expect it to improve its performance progressively.
